WHAT IS SOMATIC EXPERIENCE - TRAUMA HEALING?

Somatic Experiencing is a short term approach to the resolution and healing of trauma. In this approach we focus on bodily sensations and mobilize the powerful survival energy frozen in the nervous system.
By working on the physiological level, insights from a constellation can be integrated and absorbed more easily and any re-traumatization can be avoided. In traumatic stress our nervous system is affected and reacts in a way that is beyond our control. Unless we reach to that level of the body, where the energy charge is tied and can step by step become unfrozen and integrated, no lasting healing is possible.

FLORENCE SUFIYO LEFEBVRE
Florence was born in 1973 in France and lived in the USA for more than 10 years. She holds a degree in Marketing and Sales and has been on search of her soul purpose for over 10 years. After a successful career in NYC in fashion and interior design consulting, she was feeling empty, unsatisfied and depressed, she suddenly decided to give full space to inner growth and her personal journey, which was already initiated while living in NYC through her yoga practice with Dharma Mittra but then decided to travel to India, Australia and Latin America for 2 years.

7 years ago, during her travels to India, she met with the teaching of Ramesh Balsekar and the Indian mystic Osho at the Osho meditation resort, one of the largest centers of personal growth in the world.

Interested in therapy work, she participated to an intense therapist training program; this became a turning point in her journey of awakening and allowed her to find a space of relaxation in herself to the sole purpose of which is to aid in growing in love and meditation.

Beside exploring meditations techniques, she has developed a strong interest into the concept of "healing and relationships", Life counseling, spiritual coaching and creativity, incorporating “family constellations” created by a German therapist Bert Hellinger and "trauma healing" with American Dr. Peter Levine. She trained in the “family constellations and trauma healing" approaches to therapy with Svagito Liebermester and Vedanta Suravi in India and Europe. These approaches combines therapy and meditation.

She also studied and teaches tools in metaphysics taught by a renowned intuitive, psychologist, Doctor Carmen Harra and Jodi Serota in USA, Josiane Favrot in France and more recently, the Isha system in Latin America. She is currently working on creating and developing her own method of healing through daily meditation.

Florence is currently living in Mexico city where she has her own practice of counseling in therapy and meditation. She travels in South America and Europe to share her experience, knowledge and passion for healing, therapy and meditation.

WHEN AND WHY DOING A CONSTELLATION?
* When any areas in our life could improve.
* Suffering blockages in the scope economic and work.
* When situations are repeating and affect us.
* If we have difficulties with our love partner (or no love partner)
* When we are boycotting or sabotaging our lives without knowing why.
* If issues in relation of health (ex:depression)
* When life puts us in a crossroads situation.
* If we have children with problems

Family constellation is a powerful method that helps up identify the unconscious behaviour that leads us to sufferings in relationships between parents, children, man and woman, and guides us to understand, heal, and move forward to more conscious love and freedom, once balance has been restored in the family system.
Created by German therapist Bert Hellinger, the core of the work is the discovery of laws that governs family in every culture as in any system to reach balance and harmony:
Law of order
Law of belonging or non exclusion
Law of balancing: give and receive.
When the laws are not respected unconsciously by a family members, usually out of love or "blind love", unbalance takes place and sufferings occurs.
In bringing those hidden dynamics into light, we can modify to establish a more natural way of love to flow.
Family constellation is set with a group of people but also works as in individual sessions where symbols like cushions are used.
In group sessions, the client help the use of the participants to create his or her own constellation. The participants are representing and a living model of the members of the family with feelings and thoughts similar to the actual family members.
Once we have discovered those laws, we can help the person to flow with it, then we can guide the client to move beyond those family entanglements, be more conscious, grateful for his human experience and flowing with what life has to offer with more joy, peace and love.
